Bonding
Law of conservation of mass - matter is not created nor destroyed, only transformed or transferred into new substances.
Chemical Bond - a force of attraction between two atoms
Molecules - groups of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds.
Ionic Bond - When one atom gives one or more electrons to another atom in attempts to form a new substance. All atoms involved have full outer valence orbitals.
Covalent Bond - When atoms share electrons to form new substances and to fill their outer shells.
