MR. AMEN

**This was written by his students.
Mr. Amen is truly an incredible person. He is very hardworking, has a good sense of humor, and is very friendly. He has accomplished so much to please his students and everyone else in the community. Mr. Amen has achieved remarkable things and he is going further.....Thank you, Mr. Amen, for everything you have done for us.

HEMANI PATEL

Hemani took a big role in this year's organization. She also took 1st place at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science. She was in the National Junior Honor Society, earned honor roll, and was one of the few students who earned the Lamp of Learning award. Hemani also received the Thomas Edison Award at the end of the school year. She is a hard worker and for this website, she has done many things including making labs, preparing the musical drawings, and she made the PJAS website from experience.

BRENNAN MCKEOWN

Brennan made curriculum notes and warm-ups for the website. He is a football player, lacrosse player, and much more.  As a person, Brennan is one of the few individuals that gets how empathy creates a highly productive work environment.  He is a hard worker and will achieve what he puts his mind into.

MATTHEW INGRAM

Matt has had many accomplishments in and out of school. He was a member of NJHS. He was also the captain of the drums in the school band. He plays for 2 hockey teams and 1 lacrosse team. In ice hockey his travel team had a 26-0 season and won the Atlantic District Championships. On his other team he was the captain and the 3rd leading scorer of the league.  He contributed to a multitude of warm-ups as well as created the gaming page for chemistry.

ANDREA BISHOP

At the age of 14, Andrea has achieved many things. From honor roll, to taking many leadership roles, to simply being a pleasure to have in the classroom, Andrea has worked hard to strive for success. She helped Mr. Amen set up the Elegoo kits in her 8th grade year, along with leading a walkout, and being an avid member of the NJHS and her community.

BRYLEE TERESKA

Brylee Tereska moved up from Nitschmann Middle School with honor rolls for all years in middle school. She also received the Lamp of Learning award as well as a math award. She plays softball and volleyball, and is pursuing biomedical science at Liberty. In this internship, Brylee helped with bell ringers, labs, and many lesson structures.

FALLON INGRAM

Goals are easily achieved by Fallon. By 14 years old she had already been Vice-President of the Nitschmann Orchestra, President of the National Junior Honor Society, Co-Founder of the Walk-Out Movement of BASD, and one of the few Lamp of Learning recipients. Fallon helped design the curriculum page and wrote many lab experiements for Mr. Amen's upcoming students.

KAIA REENOCK

At 14 years old, Kaia has graduated middle school with many accomplishments. Being one of the few to receive the Lamp of Learning award, consistently earning honor roll, and holding the position of NJHS treasurer are just a few ways that she has gone above and beyond. When she's not busy with school, she's giving back to the community. Kaia developed the electricity curriculum and wrote experiments for students to use.

ALINA KESHODKAR

Alina Keshodkar is a hardworking, accomplished student who tackles every task she takes on. By the age of 12, Alina had graduated from Nitschmann Middle School with several awards including the Presidential award. She was an active member of the school's many music programs, NJHS, PJAS, and much, much more. While at this internship, Alina helped Mr. Amen develop labs and other activities to hopefully help future generations succeed in the field of science.

MADELYN PHAM

Madelyn Pham had graduated Nitschmann Middle School at the age of 14 with a Presidential award, an art award, and numerous honor rolls. Her love for science and art resulted in a scholarship at the Baum School of Arts, and a 2nd place win at regionals for PJAS. Madelyn Pham had also devoted her time in the summer to help Mr. Amen develop labs for the upcoming 8th graders.

MONICA BRUNO

Monica Bruno is an extraordinary artist who mainly worked on the warm up drawings. She was in the National Junior Honor Society, in Student Council, and she got 1st place at the PJAS State competition. She also moved up with the Lamp of Learning award. Outside of school Monica swims, she plays soccer for Liberty, and is in the school Orchestra.

JIAMING WANG

Jiaming is another diligent student who worked hard in creating the engineering curriculum. He moved up with the Lamp of Learning award and took part in many of the musical groups in Nitschmann Middle School. Jiaming plays the violin and runs cross country.

GRACE SPATIG

Grace is a studious girl who really knows how to embrace all educational opportunity. She worked on labs, lesson structures, and created them with every student in mind. She is an expert in photography as she contributed to most of the media in this website. Grace was part of the National Junior Honor Society and moved up to high school with honor roll.

LUKE MANION

Achievement is not an alien word to Luke Manion. By the end of his 3 years in NMS, Luke had earned Honor Roll, the Lamp of Learning, a presidential award for academic performance, and numerous other achievements. During the school year, he had been an active member of the schools music programs and clubs, including Jazz Band and Brass Ensemble. During the summer of 2018, Luke designed and helped flesh out a new engineering curriculum with fellow student Jacob Orrico. He is eager to work on more projects like this in the future.

JACOB ORRICO

Jacob Orrico moved up from Nitschmann Middle School at the age of 14 as an honor roll student and a memeber of the orchestra and cross country team. He participated in PJAS with an experiment on the effects of acids on PVC piping. He received the Thomas Edison Science award at the end of the school year. Jacob helped develop the introduction to the Engineering course.
