THIS IS OLD, BUT IT'S WHEN WE WERE LEARNING HOW TO PRODUCE.

From here, let's produce some sound and light to learn more about the nature of waves. If I embarrass myself, the intent is that we will have some volunteers in class.

Lesson 3: Production

Light Production - created by atoms with high (too much) energy releasing small particle/energy packets. We call these PHOTONS.
Sound Production - any disturbance on any medium will produced a wave of energy through that medium as well as other surrounding mediums.
Audio Production - converting sound to an electrical signal, and organizing it for musical or theatrical use.
- If interested in audio production, notable software for production include Protools, Logic, Ableton, Garageband, and Acid Pro.
- Plug-ins - audio programs that manipulate the sound waves you use.
- Audio Interface - Language translator from your live sound to your computer.
